US – Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cancer Genomics
Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cancer Genomics
Postdoctoral positions are open in the Tulane Cancer Center of the Tulane University. Research focuses on the identification and characterization of risk factors for carcinogenesis and cancer progression, with a special focus on prostate cancer. Ongoing projects include the genetic and molecular characterization of genomic instability and tumor heterogeneity of prostate and other types of tumors. The immediate goal is to measure the effect of genomic instability (measured as somatic variation rate) in outcomes research.
Tulane Cancer Center provides an intellectually stimulating environment with opportunities for collaborations and cross-disciplinary training. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or MD and a background in genetics or molecular biology. Knowledge of next-generation sequencing is beneficial. Please send CV including bibliography and names of three references to Nick Makridakis, Ph.D., Tulane Cancer Center, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.
