Siemens Math, Science and Technology Competition for High School Students - Up to $100,000 College Scholarships - The Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology recognizes remarkable talent early on, fostering individual growth for high school students who are willing to challenge themselves through science research.

The Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology recognizes remarkable talent early on, fostering individual growth for high school students who are willing to challenge themselves through science research. Through this competition, students have an opportunity to achieve national recognition for science research projects that they complete in high school. It is administered by The College Board and funded by the Siemens Foundation.

The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to providing scholarships and increasing access to higher education for talented mathematics, science, engineering, and technology students in the United States.

The Siemens Competition seeks to promote excellence by encouraging students to undertake individual or team research projects. It fosters intensive research that improves students' understanding of the value of scientific study and informs their consideration of future careers in these disciplines.

2011 Siemens Competition
Registration and updated instructions for the 2011 Siemens Competition are now available. Project receipt deadline is Monday, October 3, 2011 at 5pm Eastern Time. Visit http://www.collegeboard.com/siemens/ for registration.
